As a Dev Manager I enjoy having information at my finger tips. Number of errors, build statuses, realtime visitors, conversion rates etc etc so I decided I wanted to figure out a way to get build and release information on my wrist.

I ended up deciding Slack was the way to go.

I found a TFS build and release step for Slack notifications. I then installed Slack onto my iPhone and allowed the Slack app to notify the app on my phone and those notifications appear on my watch..

Ta daa! Build and release information on my wrist. It was kind of weird walking around Venice on holiday with build and release notifications going off on my wrist.
