By this I mean the content in their title html element. This title tag is usually shown in search results and also browser tabs.

Some observations..

The pipe ( | ) character is used to separate page title in a lot of cases, other use dashes ( - ) and in some cases colons ( : )
There are some disappointing? occurrences of just the word "Home"
Some contain company taglines, some just the company name
24% contain either the word home or homepage
91% contain the name of the company

Looking at the distribution of lengths of the page titles doesn't reveal that much other than satisfy my curiosity (as some companies have longer names than others). However modern SEO practices suggest a page title to be between 50 and 60 characters long.
